That's right, graduation isn’t automatic. Before students can receive a diploma -- even if they’re not planning to attend the ceremony -- students must apply to receive a diploma.
After registering for their final semester, students complete the online Graduation & Diploma Application to notify the Office of Records & Registration of their upcoming completion and intent to receive a diploma. The Office will review the students' degree requirements to verify they are on track, or identify any outstanding requirements that need attention.
Students can log in to the portal and find the online form under the Student and then OnLine Forms links.
