By submitting the Garrett College Scholarship OneApp you are applying to be considered for any qualifying Garrett College Foundation awards. Garrett County residents are also automatically submitted for consideration of the Garrett County Scholarship Program.

Garrett College Foundation Scholarships:  Awarded through the GC Foundation.  Criteria for these grants and scholarships vary, including program of study or major, geographic location, financial need, full or part-time enrollment status, etc.

Garrett County Scholarship Program: Provides eligible Garrett County high school graduates with a student aid package that covers the cost of tuition and combined fees at Garrett College. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA each semester.

Some scholarships require students maintain a minimum Grade Point Average or number of credit hours each semester.

Reminders about Garrett County Scholarship Program:  Must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits).  Students must maintain at least a 2.50 semester GPA (each semester).  Funds only pay for tuition and combined fees – it will not cover course fees or textbooks.  The program will fund 64 college level course hours (excluding remedial coursework), and will not cover repeated courses.  Federal and State grant funding must be fully exhausted before the scholarship program will be applied.  According to regulation a student must exhaust federal and state grant aid prior to the Scholarship program being applied.
